I Can't Log In — Troubleshooting Account Access

If you're having trouble logging in to your Datatruck account, work through the following steps in order before contacting support.

 

Step 1: Check Your Credentials

  • Make sure you are using the correct email address and password.

  • Check that Caps Lock is not on.

  • Confirm you are logging in at the correct URL: datatruck.io

 

Step 2: Reset Your Password

If you're unsure about your password, reset it before trying anything else. See How To Reset Your Password for step-by-step instructions.

 

Step 3: Try an Incognito / Private Window

Browser extensions and cached data can interfere with login. Open an incognito or private browsing window and try logging in again.

  • Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) / Cmd + Shift + N (Mac)

  • Safari: Cmd + Shift + N

  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) / Cmd + Shift + P (Mac)

If login works in incognito, the issue is with your browser. Continue to Step 4.

 

Step 4: Clear Cache and Cookies

  1. Open your browser settings.

  2. Navigate to Privacy or History.

  3. Select Clear browsing data.

  4. Check Cookies and Cached images and files.

  5. Click Clear and try logging in again.

 

Step 5: Disable Ad Blockers and Browser Extensions

Ad blockers or security extensions can block login requests.

  1. Temporarily disable any ad blockers or extensions.

  2. Refresh the page and attempt to log in.

  3. If it works, re-enable extensions one by one to identify the culprit.
     

Step 6: Check Your VPN

VPNs can sometimes block or conflict with authentication.

  • If you are connected to a VPN, disconnect it and try logging in.

  • If you are not on a VPN, try connecting to one and logging in again.

  • If your company uses a required VPN, confirm it is properly configured.

 

Step 7: Try a Different Browser or Device

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, try logging in using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) or a different device entirely.
