Customer Not Found in Load Creation - Troubleshooting

What This Means

When creating a load, if the customer you are searching for does not appear in the results, it does not necessarily mean they do not exist in Datatruck. They may be saved under a different name than expected.

 

What to Do

  1. Go to Customer Management from the left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Instead of searching by name, search by MC number.

  3. If the customer appears, check what name they are saved under in Datatruck.

  4. Use that exact name when creating the load.

 

Why This Happens

Customers in Datatruck are sometimes added under a trade name, abbreviation, or variation that differs from what you are searching for. Searching by MC number bypasses the name and finds the correct record directly.
