If a load fails to save, the cause is usually one of the issues below.
"Load ID Already Exists" / Duplication Restriction
What it means: Datatruck has a configuration that restricts creating loads with duplicate Load IDs.
How to fix it:
Search the Load ID in All Loads to find the existing load using that number
- Ask your Admin to disable the "Load ID Duplicate Restriction" configuration.
You may update the Load ID.
Load Restricted by Office
What it means: Loads can be restricted to a specific office, meaning only users assigned to that office can view, edit, or create loads under it.
How to fix it:
Confirm which office the load should belong to
Check your own user profile to confirm you're assigned to that office
If you need access to create loads for an office you're not assigned to, contact your Admin to update your office assignment or permissions
If the MC Number tied to the load is also office-restricted, confirm the correct MC is selected when creating
the load
General Errors When Saving
If you receive an error message not covered above:
Confirm all required fields are filled in (Customer, Pickup/Delivery locations, Driver/Truck assignment, Rate,MC)
Refresh the page and try again — a temporary sync issue may be the cause
Try creating the load in an Incognito/Private window to rule out a browser extension conflict
Clear your browsers cache and try re-logging in
If the error persists, take a screenshot of the exact error message and contact Datatruck Live Support
