Datatruck Working Slow — Troubleshooting

If Datatruck feels slow, freezes, or takes a long time to load, the cause is usually local to your browser or network rather than an issue with Datatruck itself. Work through the steps below in order.

Step 1 — Determine If It's Just You

Before troubleshooting your own machine, check whether the issue is isolated to you or affecting others too.

Ask a coworker on the same account if they're experiencing the same slowness right now.

  • If only you are affected: the issue is likely local (your browser, cache, network, or extensions). Continue to the steps below.

  • If your coworkers are affected too: the issue may be on Datatruck's end or related to your company's shared network. Skip to Step 5 and contact Live Support.

Step 2 — Try Incognito/Private Mode

Open Datatruck in an Incognito or Private browsing window.

  • If it runs faster in Incognito: a browser extension (especially an ad blocker) is likely interfering. Disable ad blockers and other extensions for Datatruck, or whitelist the Datatruck domain.

  • If it's still slow in Incognito: the issue isn't extension-related; continue to the next step.

Step 3 — Clear Cache and Cookies

A buildup of cached data can slow down web apps over time.

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies for the Datatruck site

  2. Close and fully restart the browser

  3. Log back in and check if performance improves

Step 4 — Check Your Browser and Network

  • Make sure you're using an up-to-date version of a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox)

  • Close unnecessary tabs and applications that may be consuming memory or bandwidth

  • Run a quick internet speed test — a slow or unstable connection will affect load times

  • If on Wi-Fi, try switching to a wired connection if possible

Step 5 — Contact Support

If the issue persists after trying the steps above, or if multiple coworkers are affected at the same time — contact Datatruck Live Support.
