If a trip won't add to a driver's salary batch, the cause is usually one of the issues below.
Trip Is In-Transit, Not Delivered
What it means: By default, only delivered trips can be added to a settlement.
How to fix it:
Confirm the trip's status is Delivered before attempting to add it
If your company allows in-transit loads to be added to settlements, this must be configured first under Settings > Default Configurations > Accounting.
Once enabled, in-transit trips will become available to add; otherwise, wait until the trip is marked Delivered
MC Number Mismatch
What it means: The trip's MC Number doesn't match the MC Number of the salary batch you're trying to add it to.
How to fix it:
Open the trip and confirm which MC Number it's assigned to
Confirm the salary batch was created under that same MC Number
If they don't match, either create the batch under the correct MC or correct the MC Number on the trip, then try adding it again
Load Is Delivered but Trip Status Is Still "Assigned"
What it means: The load delivery status and the trip status are tracked separately. Even if the load shows as Delivered, the trip itself must be marked Completed before it can be added to a settlement.
How to fix it:
Open the trip and check its status
If it's still showing Assigned, manually update it to Completed
Once completed, the trip will become eligible to add to the salary batch
