This article explains the most common error messages you may encounter in Datatruck, what they mean, and how to resolve them.

"Email already exists"

What it means: The email address you are trying to use is already registered to an existing account or user/driver in Datatruck.

How to fix it:

  • If you are creating a new driver/user, use a different email address.
  • You can locate the existing email by filtering it by Email in All Drivers, Active or Archived Dispatcher/Employee section.

"Invalid username or password"

What it means: The credentials entered do not match any account on file.

How to fix it:

  • Double-check your email and password for typos.
  • Make sure Caps Lock is off.
  • Use Forgot Password to reset your credentials.

"No active account found with the specified details"

What it means: No Datatruck account is associated with the email address entered.

How to fix it:

  • Confirm you are using the correct email address.
  • Check if you registered under a different email.
  • Contact your company Admin to verify your account status.

"Truck with this VIN already exists"

What it means: The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) you entered is already registered to a truck in your Datatruck account.

How to fix it:

  • Check your existing truck list under Fleet Management to find the duplicate.
  • If the truck was previously deactivated, reactivate it instead of creating a new entry.
  • If the VIN was entered incorrectly on an existing truck, update it before adding the new one.

"Duplicate Load Detected"

What it means: It means that a load with the same load ID already exists in the system.

How to fix it:

  • Ask your Admin to disable the "Load ID Duplicate Restriction" configuration.
  • You may update the Load ID.
