Datatruck uses role-based access control to ensure each user only sees and interacts with the features relevant to their responsibilities. Admins can also customize individual permissions beyond a user's assigned role for added flexibility.
Available Roles
1. Owner / Admin
Full access to all platform features including user management, financials, settings, integrations, and billing.
2. Dispatcher
Creates and manages loads, assigns drivers, monitors status, and communicates with drivers.
3. Accountant
Manages invoices, driver pay, financial reports, and accounting integrations.
4. Fleet Manager
Manages trucks, trailers, maintenance schedules, inspections, and vehicle assignments.
5. HR Manager
Manages driver profiles, onboarding, and compliance documents such as CDL, medical cards, and insurance.
6. Safety Manager
Monitors inspections, HOS and ELD data, safety scores, violation records, and compliance alerts.
