How to Enable Geofencing

1. Go to Apps and Marketplace > AI Updater.

2. Enable the Geofencing option.

That’s it! Once enabled, AI Updater will automatically start monitoring your drivers.

Why Geofencing Matters

Traditionally, dispatchers or drivers had to manually check in and check out at pickup and delivery locations or some drivers were doing that from their app. This required extra clicks, follow-ups, and constant monitoring , which was time-consuming.

With Geofencing, AI Updater eliminates that manual work.

How It Works

•  Loads that are geofenced by AI Updater are marked with a “G” icon on the trip screen.
  
  
   

• When a driver enters the pickup or delivery location within a 2-mile radius, AI Updater automatically detects it and performs the check-in.

• An icon labeled “Geofenced by AI Updater” will appear, confirming that the check-in was completed automatically.
  
  
   

• The same applies to check-outs when the driver leaves the location.

This ensures that neither the driver nor the dispatcher has to manually perform check-ins or check-outs, AI does it for you.

Smart ETA Calculation

AI Updater integrates with your Telematics or ELD system (such as Samsara) to retrieve the driver’s current location and vehicle status.

• The location data is passed to Google Maps, which calculates the most accurate ETA.

• This ETA is then used to keep brokers, dispatchers, and customers updated in real time.
