How to Bulk Upload Documents

Datatruck allows you to upload multiple documents at once for trucks, trailers, and drivers using the Bulk Upload feature. Instead of uploading files one by one, you can select an entire folder from your computer and Datatruck will organize all files into the correct document folders automatically.

Before You Start: File Requirements

Bulk upload only works with regular, unarchived folders. ZIP and RAR compressed files are not supported if you try to upload one, the system will show a "Folder is empty" error. Always make sure your folder is uncompressed before uploading.

Subfolders are fully supported, so if your main folder is organized into subfolders by document type, all files inside will still upload successfully. Supported file types include standard document formats such as PDF, JPG, and PNG.

How to Bulk Upload Documents

Step 1: Go to the Profile

Navigate to the Trucks, Trailers, or Drivers section from the left sidebar and open the profile of the truck, trailer, or driver you want to upload documents for.

Step 2: Open the Documents Tab

Click on the Documents tab within the profile.

Step 3: Click Bulk Upload

Click the Bulk Upload button. You will be prompted to select a folder from your computer.

Step 4: Select Your Folder

Choose the folder containing your documents. Make sure it is a regular unarchived folder, not a ZIP or RAR file.

Step 5: Confirm the Upload

Once selected, Datatruck will process and upload all files from the folder, including any subfolders, into the appropriate document folders.
