Mapon is a self-serve telematics integration that syncs truck location data into Datatruck using an API key.

Where: Settings > Integrations > Telematics

Before You Start

Contact your Mapon representative to request your API key:

To: your Mapon representative
Subject: API Key Request  [Company Name]

Hi,

We are integrating Mapon with our Datatruck TMS. Could you please provide our API key to complete the setup?

Our MC number is [MC Number].

Thank you,
[Your Name]
[Company Name]
[Phone Number]

Setup Steps

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Telematics
   
   
    

2. Find the Mapon card and click Get Started
   
   

3. Select your MC Number

4. Paste your API Key into the Token field

5. Click Connect to Mapon
   
   
    

6. On the details page, click Sync Trucks

   

Important Notes

• There is no Test Connection button,  a successful connect and sync confirms the integration is working

• Trucks are matched by VIN. VINs must match exactly between Mapon and Datatruck
