You can integrate Verizon Connect (Reveal) with Datatruck to fetch location data directly into your platform. To do this, an Integration User must be created inside Verizon Connect. Standard portal credentials (username/password) will not work for this integration.
Either the client creates an integration user on their own, or our support team can guide them through the process.
Credentials Required
To begin, you’ll need the following Verizon Connect customer portal credentials:
Username
Password
Portal URL: https://reveal.fleetmatics.com
Steps to Create an Integration
Log in to Verizon Reveal
Go to reveal.fleetmatics.com and log in with your credentials.
Open Marketplace
From your profile menu, select Marketplace.
Go to API Integrations Tab
Navigate to the API Integrations section.
Select “Give Data Access” → Get Started
You’ll be taken to a form where you need to provide integration details.
-
Fill in the Information:
Third-party company name: Datatruck
Integration name: Datatruck integration
Developer name: Enter the name of the Datatruck customer support rep or developer who will receive the credentials.
Developer email: Enter the support/developer email (this is where Verizon sends the integration credentials).
Phone number: Any phone number can be entered (no validation required).
-
Enable and Submit
Select the consent checkbox at the bottom.
Click Next.
Confirm the form details and submit.
After Submission
Verizon sends the integration credentials to the developer email provided in the form.
Enter these credentials into Datatruck under the Verizon Integration section.
Once added, the integration is active and location data will begin syncing automatically.
