You can create custom asset types (e.g., straps, tarps, fridge units) in Inventory, and then assign them to a specific trailer under its profile.

Step 1: Create Asset Types

1. Go to Settings > Inventory.

2. Click on Create Asset.

3. Enter the asset type (e.g., straps, tarps, fridge).

4. Save the asset type.
   
   
    

Step 2: Assign Assets to a Trailer

1. Go to Fleet Management > Trailers.

2. Open the trailer profile where you want to add the asset.

3. Select the Assets tab.

4. Click Assign.
   
   
   
    

5.  Click on Add new asset.
   
   
    

6. Fill in the required details:

   • MC Number (if applicable)

   • Type (choose from the asset types you created in Inventory)

   • Name, Reference, Install Date, Quantity, Amount

   • Optional: Add a note

7. Click Add and assign.

The asset will now appear under the Installed assets section of the trailer’s profile.
