Driver Requesting Reimbursement - DT Driver Mobile App

There may be times when a driver needs to request reimbursement for things like a lumper fee, truck wash, tolls, or other approved expenses. The DT Driver mobile app makes this process quick and easy.

Steps to Submit a Reimbursement Request

  1. Open the DT Driver app.
  2. Go to the Pay section.
  3. Tap on “Requests”, then click the ( + ) button to create a new request.

  4. On the request screen:
    • Enter the amount to be reimbursed.
    • Select the date of the expense.
    • Attach receipts or any relevant pictures 
    • In the Notes, briefly explain what the fee is for (e.g., "Lumper fee at Walmart LA" or "Truck wash in Dallas").
  5. Tap Send to submit your request.

Tracking the Request

Once submitted, you’ll be able to track the status of the request directly in the app. The request will show as either:

  • Pending: waiting for approval
  • Completed: approved and processed

Where Reimbursement Requests Are Reflected in Datatruck

When a driver submits a reimbursement request from the DT Driver Mobile App, here's how it is handled and where you can track and manage it within the Datatruck platform:

  1. Navigate to:
    Salary> One Time Charges
    This is where the request will first appear.

  2. Review the Request:
    You can approve or reject the reimbursement from this section.

  3. After Approval:
    Once approved, the amount will automatically be reflected in the driver's settlements.
