What Happens If You Can't Turn On Location Services in the Mobile App?

When you install and log in to the Datatruck mobile app, it will ask for permission to track your location and send notifications. Be sure to select Allow While Using the App and Allow Notifications when prompted.

If you miss these prompts, you may find yourself unable to turn on location sharing later — for example, when trying to view your current loads.

How to Fix It (iOS)

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Search for Location Services, or go to Privacy & Security → Location Services.

  3. Make sure Location Services is turned on overall.
  4. Find Datatruck in the app list. If it shows Never, tap it and change the permission to Always or While Using the App.

Once updated, location sharing will be enabled and the app will work as expected.
