How To Generate Fuel Report For Quickbooks (QBO)

This article explains how to generate and download the fuel report from Datatruck so it can be uploaded to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
 

Access Fuel Mapping

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Accounting > QuickBooks.

  2. Click the View icon to open the QuickBooks integration details.

  3. Select the Fuel tab.


Map Fuel Account

  1. Under Account Mapping Items, locate the Fuel field.

  2. Map it to the appropriate Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks (for example, Vehicle Gas & Fuel).

  3. Click Save to apply the mapping.
    This mapping ensures fuel deductions are categorized correctly in QuickBooks.

Generate and Download the Fuel Report

  1. In the Report Creation section, select a From Date and To Date.

  2. Choose the desired option under Fuel Deduction & Show Options.

  3. Click Download as XLS to export the fuel report.

The downloaded file can then be uploaded directly into QuickBooks (QBO).
