Purpose
Two-step authentication adds an extra layer of security to your Datatruck account. When enabled, users must verify their identity using both their password and a one-time code, ensuring that only authorized users can access company data.
How to Access
-
Go to the Settings menu in your Datatruck dashboard.
-
Select Users Management.
-
Click on the Security tab.
Steps to Enable Two-Step Authentication
-
Navigate to Users Management > Security.
-
Locate the Require two-step authentication for your team toggle.
-
Switch it ON.
-
Once enabled, users without 2FA will be prompted to configure it the next time they log in.
How It Works
In the Security tab, you’ll find the option to enable or disable Two-step authentication for your team.
-
When turned ON:
All team members will be required to set up two-step authentication the next time they sign in. -
When turned OFF:
Two-step authentication is optional, and users can log in using just their password.
Note:
The customer would need to request our support or dev team to enable it from the backend.
