The Datatruck Telegram Bot allows users to connect their accounts and receive real-time notifications directly in Telegram. This guide is specifically written for drivers, but the same steps can be followed for dispatchers, or any other user who needs to link their Datatruck account to the Telegram bot.

1. Connect Your Telegram Account

1. Open the Driver’s Profile you want to connect to the Telegram bot.

2. Go to Others > Copy Link.
   
   
    

3. Paste the copied link into your browser.

4. Click Start Bot, then select Open Telegram.

5. If this is your first time connecting, type /start in Telegram.

   • If you were previously connected, type /reset.

6. When prompted for the secret code, paste the link you copied earlier.

7. You will receive a confirmation that your account has been successfully linked to the Datatruck Driver Bot.

8. Once confirmed, share the link with the driver and ask them to click it. They will be prompted to open Telegram and complete the connection.

2. Create a Group with the Driver and the Bot

1. Create a new Telegram group.

2. Add the driver with dispatchers and the bot: @datatruck_driver_bot.

3. In the group, ask the driver to send the following command:
   /connect_driver@datatruck_driver_bot 

4. The bot will confirm that the driver is successfully connected.

3. Share Load Information

To send load details directly to the driver:

1. Open the Load.

2. Go to Trip.

3. Click Share.

4. Select Telegram, then choose the driver.

The driver will receive the trip information right in Telegram.
