How To Customize Truck/ Trailer Statuses In Fleet Management

Having clear and relevant status labels in your Fleet Management section can go a long way in keeping your operations organized. If the default options for Fleet Status, Truck Status, or Trailer Status don’t fully match how your team works, you can easily customize them.

This includes creating new statuses, renaming existing ones, assigning color codes, and adjusting the order they appear in drop downs, directly from your settings.

Step 1. Go to Settings
From the left-hand navigation, select Settings.

Step 2. Select Dynamic Status
Under Settings, click on Dynamic Statuses.

Step 3. Choose What You Want to Customize
You’ll see a few options here:

    • Truck

    • Trailer
      Click the section you'd like to update.

Step 4. Create or Edit a Status

    1. To edit an existing status, double-click on it.

    2. To create a new status, click the Create button.

Step 5. Customize the Status

    • Give it a name that reflects your team’s terminology.

    • Choose a color to visually separate it from other statuses. 

Step 6. Save Your Changes
After customizing, click Save to apply the updates.
