As a Datatruck admin user, you have the authority to generate login credentials for drivers to access the mobile app. Please follow these steps to setup the Driver Mobile App.

Step 1: Log In to the Datatruck TMS System

1. Kindly log in to your Datatruck TMS system.

2. Please navigate to the HR Management section from the main menu.

Step 2: Access the Driver's Profile

1. In the HR Management section, please click on the Drivers tab.

2. Kindly select the intended driver for whom you want to send the mobile app login credentials.

Step 3: Open the Driver's Profile

1. Kindly click on the driver's First Name or Last Name to open their profile.

2. Within the profile, locate the Mobile App Login section.

3. Please ensure that the driver's email address is correctly populated in their profile.

Step 4: Setup Sign-In Information

1. In the Mobile App Login section, you can:

   • Use the system-advised username.

   • Alternatively, create a custom username for the driver.

2. Reset a secure password for the driver's mobile app or use the recommended one.

Step 5: Send Login Credentials

1. After entering the login details, please click the Re-send to Email button.

2. The driver will receive an email containing their credentials.

Step 6: Ensure Proper Credential Usage

When sharing login credentials with the driver, please remind them to input the username and password exactly as provided, respecting capitalisation (e.g., uppercase and lowercase letters must match precisely).

​Setting Up the Mobile App on the Driver's Phone:

1. Driver's Responsibility: The next step involves the driver setting up the mobile app on their phone.

2. App Download: The driver should go to the app store based on their device's operating system (e.g., AppStore for iOS or Google Play for Android).

3. Search for Datatruck: Using the search function within the app store, the driver should search for the "DataTruck Mobile App".

5. Entering Credentials:

   • When the app is installed, open it.

   • Enter the company name associated with your Datatruck account.

   • Input the username that was created by the admin of your company.

   • Enter the password you set during the system setup.
