Automations let you configure automatic notifications when documents, licenses, tasks, or registrations are approaching expiration. You choose how many days (or miles) in advance to be notified, who receives the alert, and whether each notification type is active.

Where: Settings → TMS Customizations → Automations

Notification Tabs

The Automations page has three tabs:

  • Expiration Notifications — alerts for document and task expirations (covered below)
  • Flagging Notifications — alerts triggered by flagging events
  • Other Alerts — additional system notifications

Expiration Notification Event Types

The following event types are available under Expiration Notifications:

Truck: Trailer document, Truck task by mile, Truck task by date, Truck annual inspection, Truck registration, Truck document
