How to Change a User's Role

  1. Go to Settings > Users Management > All Users

  2. Find the user in the list and click their name to open their profile.

  3. Click the Roles tab at the top of the profile

  4. Click the Add Roles button to select a different role.

  5. Then delete the previous one

The user's access will update immediately based on the permissions tied to that role.

How to Edit Role-Level Permissions

Role permissions control which modules each role can access across the entire account. Changing a permission here affects every user assigned to that role.

  1. Go to Settings > Users Management

  2. Click the Permissions tab

  3. The permissions table shows all modules down the left side, with the 6 roles across the top

  4. Click on a module to expand it and see its sub-sections

  5. Toggle the checkmark or X for any role to grant or remove access

  6. Click Save Permissions when done

How to Assign Custom Permissions to a Specific User

Custom permissions let you give an individual user access to something outside their role — or restrict them from something their role normally allows — without changing the role for everyone.

  1. Go to Settings > Users Management > All Users

  2. Find the user and click their name to open their profile

  3. Click the Custom Permissions tab at the top of the profile

  4.  Select the specific permission to add or remove

  5. Click Save Permissions

Custom permissions stack on top of the user's role. They are useful for one-off access needs without creating a new role.
