Basic Block is a self-serve factoring integration. The webhook is set up automatically on save. Once connected, invoices go out through the normal invoice batch flow.

Where: Settings > Integrations > Factoring

Before You Start

Subject: API Token Request  [Company Name]

Hi,

We are integrating Basic Block with our Datatruck TMS. Could you please provide our API token to complete the setup?

Our MC number is [MC Number].

Thank you,
[Your Name]
[Company Name]
[Phone Number]

Setup Steps

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Factoring

  2. Click Create

  3. Select Basic Block from the Factoring Company dropdown

  4. Select your MC Number first — the Customer ID is resolved from the token plus this MC

  5. Paste your API Token into the Token field (live tokens start with sk_). After a moment, Customer ID fills in automatically. If you see "Multiple or no accounts found," enter the Customer ID manually, numbers only

  6. Optionally add a Billing Address and Remit Notice

  7. Click Test Connection, then click Save

The webhook is configured automatically in the background on save and nothing is needed to register on your side.

Important Notes - Common Reasons a Load Won't Submit

  • The broker on the load must exist in Basic Block with a matching MC number and must be approved on your Basic Block account. If not, onboard that broker with Basic Block first before attempting to submit

  • The load must have documents attached,  nothing is submitted without them

  • The load must have a positive amount
