If a load has already been sent to factoring and you need to add detention, Datatruck allows you to update the invoice and resend it without affecting other loads in the batch. Follow the steps below to make the required adjustment.

1. Open the Invoice Batch

  1. Go to Invoice Management or the section where your factoring batches are stored.

  2. Open the specific Invoice Batch that contains the load you want to update.

2. Edit the Load

  1. Locate the load within the invoice batch.

  2. On the right-hand side of the load, click the Edit button.

  3. Add the Detention charge by entering the required amount and details.

  4. Save your changes.

3. Regenerate the Invoice

After adding the detention charge:

  1. Click Regenerate Invoice to update the invoice with the new detention amount.

  2. The system will create an updated invoice reflecting the revised total.

4. Re-Send the Updated Load to Factoring

  1. Select only the updated load within the batch.

  2. Click Send  to forward the revised invoice to your factoring company.

This ensures that only the affected load is resent, while the rest of the batch remains unchanged.

Important Notes

  • Regenerating the invoice does not affect other loads in the batch.

  • Factoring companies may require updated paperwork, so ensure the regenerated invoice is included.

  • Always confirm that the detention amount appears correctly on the invoice before resending.
