How To Use Watchdogs in Datatruck
The Watchdogs feature in Datatruck helps you stay on top of invoices and payments by allowing you to track pending actions, follow-ups, and deadlines, all in one place. You can add notes, mark tasks as complete, and archive them once resolved.
What Are Watchdogs?
Watchdogs act as reminders or alerts linked to invoices.
They’re especially useful for tracking:
-
Invoices that haven’t been paid yet.
-
Customers who need to be contacted.
-
Internal follow-ups such as “Email broker,” “Call shipper,” or “Need updated POD.”
You can view all Watchdogs across your account in Accounting > Invoices > Watchdogs.
