How To Add Credit Score For Customers

Keeping customer profiles updated helps improve visibility, manage risk, and support better decision making, especially for factoring and payment tracking. Datatruck lets you record credit scores, approval status, and payment behavior directly in the customer profile. This ensures quick access to key financial insights and reduces the risk of working with high-risk customers.

How to Add Credit Score Info

  1. Go to the Customer Management section in your left-hand menu.

  2. Click on Customers, and then select the customer profile you want to update.

  3. Scroll down to find the Credit Score section.

  4. Click on + Add Credit Score Info.

Fill in the Credit Score Details

A side pop-up screen will appear. Here, you can fill out:

  • Credit Score (1–100):
    Enter a numeric score. As you input the value, the system will automatically display the corresponding Credit Rate as alphabets (ABCD)

  • Approval Status:
    Choose one of the following:

    • Approved to Factor

    • Not Approved to Factor

  • Days to Pay:
    Enter the standard payment terms 

  • Average Days to Pay:
    Record the average number of days this customer typically takes to pay invoices.

  • Risk Score (1–100):
    Provide a risk score based on your internal evaluation or data sources.

  • Risk Level:
    This will automatically reflect whether the customer is categorized as Low Risk or High Risk, based on the entered score. 

Once you've entered all relevant data, click Add Credit Score to update the customer profile.

You’ve now successfully added credit score information for a customer. This data will now appear in their profile, helping your team to make quicker and more informed decisions around factoring. Also, you can always edit and delete if you would like to.
