Detention or other charges created within a load under Trips > One Time Charges do not automatically appear in the vendor bill statement. These charges must be added manually to ensure the vendor statement reflects the correct total.

When Is This Required?

If a Detention or any other additional charge is added inside a load, it must be manually included in the Bill Statement for the corresponding settlement.

Steps to Add Detention or Charges

1. Open the Vendor Bill Statement

Navigate to the Bill Statement and locate the settlement that contains the load.

2. Find the Correct Settlement

Ensure you are working within the settlement where the specific load appears.

3. Click the Add Icon

Click the red plus (+) icon next to the settlement line to add a new charge.

4. Enter the Charge Details

Manually add the Detention or other applicable charge and enter the required details.

5. Save the Changes

After adding the charge, save the changes to update the vendor statement.
