Dispatch Board 2.0 provides two different ways to view loads: Layer View and Static View. Each view is designed for a specific purpose and helps dispatchers manage loads more efficiently.
How to Access the View Settings
Click on Settings in Dispatch Board 2.0.
Choose how you would like to view loads using Layer View or Static View.
Layer View
Layer View displays loads based on their scheduled date and time. This view is primarily used for planning and dispatching, as it aligns loads with drivers, equipment, and timelines. Loads appear only when they fit within the selected time window, making it easier to visualize schedules and manage assignments accurately.
Static View
Static View allows users to view loads based on either the pick-up date or the delivery date. This view is more flexible and provides a broader list of loads, including those that may not yet be fully planned or assigned. It is useful for reviewing, tracking, and managing loads without focusing on exact timing.
Summary
Layer View focuses on time-based planning and scheduling.
Static View focuses on date-based visibility using pick-up or delivery dates.
These views are settings within Dispatch Board 2.0 that give users the flexibility to manage and view loads in the way that best fits their workflow.
