Custom Reports in Datatruck let you build reports tailored to your specific needs. Instead of relying on preset formats, you choose the exact data, filters, and fields you want, giving you more control and clarity over your operations.
You can create Custom Reports for seven report types:
Loads
Drivers
Trucks
Load Notes
1099 Reporting
Vendor 1099 Reporting
Reviewer Loads
Whether you're tracking loads, reviewing driver info, managing your fleet, or pulling 1099 data, custom reports help you get the right insights, fast.
Step-by-Step: Creating a Custom Report
Go to the Dashboard. From your Datatruck sidebar, go to Dashboard and click Custom Report (the last option in the list).
Click "Create New." This opens the report setup screen.
Enter Your Email. Under Send To, enter the email address that should receive the report.
Set Your Report Criteria.
Choose the report Type: Loads, Drivers, Trucks, Load Notes, 1099 Reporting, Vendor 1099 Reporting, or Reviewer Loads.
Depending on the type selected, additional criteria fields appear (for example, a date range like Pickup, an MC Number, and a Description).
Apply Include Filters. Use the Include Filters section to narrow the report — for example, All Loads, Booked Loads, Dispatched Loads, In Transit Loads, or Delivered Loads.
Select Export Fields. Check the boxes for the data you want included in the report. Fields are grouped by category, such as:
Load Info (Shipment ID, Load ID, Load Status, MC Number, Total Miles, Load Pay, etc.)
Load Invoice Info (Invoice Number, Invoice Status)
Customer Info (Customer Name, Address, Status)
Use Select All or Clear All at the top of each section to quickly toggle every field at once.
Save as a Template (optional). Enter a Report Name and click Save Template to store your selected criteria and fields for reuse. Next time, just select the saved template from Fill from Template and everything pre-fills automatically. A confirmation message will appear once the template is saved.
Send the Report. Click Send Report in the top-right corner. The report will be generated and delivered to the email address you provided.
