TruckGPT can automatically detect changes in an updated Rate Confirmation document and
apply them to your load. Instead of manually editing load fields one by one, simply upload a new
Rate Confirmation and let TruckGPT read and compare the differences for you.
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of editing a load via TruckGPT using the
Rate Confirmation replacement workflow.
Fields Updated by TruckGPT
When you replace a Rate Confirmation, TruckGPT currently detects and updates the following
load fields:
• Load ID
• Load Pay
• Customer
• MC Number
• Special Instructions
Step 1: Open the Load
Navigate to the load you want to update. In this example, we are working with Load DT013196,
which is currently in Booked status.
You will see the full load details including stops, mileage calculation, customer information, and
the profit box on the right side.
Step 2: Click on the Rate Confirmation Document Button
Scroll down to the Documents section of the load. You will see document upload slots for Rate Confirmation, Bill of Lading, Proof of Delivery, Document, and Commercial Invoice.
Click on the Rate Confirmation button to open the Document Management window.
Step 3: Upload the New Rate Confirmation
In the Document Management window, click + Upload documents (top-right corner) to upload your updated Rate Confirmation file.
Supported file formats: PDF, PNG, JPEG.
After uploading, the new document will appear in the list with an "UPLOADED" status alongside the original Rate Confirmation.
Step 4: Review the Uploaded Document
Once the new Rate Confirmation is uploaded, it will appear in the Document Management list. You can verify the file name, upload date, and status.
To initiate the TruckGPT comparison, click the Replace button next to the newly uploaded document.
Step 5: TruckGPT Reads the New Rate Confirmation
After clicking Replace, TruckGPT will begin reading and analyzing the new Rate Confirmation document. You will see a "Replacing..." status indicator while TruckGPT processes the document.
This process typically takes a few seconds. TruckGPT extracts key fields from the new document and compares them against the current load data.
Step 6: Review the Detected Changes
Once TruckGPT finishes processing, an "Updated Rate Confirmation Detected" dialog will appear. This dialog displays a side-by-side comparison of the old and new values for each changed field.
In this example, TruckGPT detected the following changes:
| Field | Old Value | New Value |
| Load ID | 00000111 | 26017967 |
| Pay Amount | $5,500.00 | $3,500.00 |
| Customer | Yellow Diamond | Total Quality Logistics |
| Special Instructions | — | LxWxH |
Step 7: Apply or Cancel the Changes
After reviewing the detected changes, you have two options:
Apply New Rate Details: Click this button to accept all the changes. TruckGPT will update the load with the new values extracted from the replacement Rate Confirmation.
Cancel: Click this button to discard the changes and keep the original load data as-is.
Once you click Apply New Rate Details, the load will be updated immediately with the new information.
Tip: Always review the detected changes carefully before clicking Apply. TruckGPT highlights every difference so you can confirm accuracy before updating the load.
Using TruckGPT to edit loads through Rate Confirmation replacement eliminates the need to manually update individual fields. Simply upload a new Rate Confirmation, let TruckGPT detect the differences, review the changes, and apply them with a single click.
