If you are migrating from a previous TMS, Datatruck allows you to import your old load records for reference and documentation. Follow the steps below to import your data smoothly.

1. Prepare Your File

Before importing, ensure that your old load data is saved in one of the supported formats:

  • Excel (.xlsx)

  • CSV (.csv)

Make sure your columns are clearly labeled to make mapping easier later.

2. Navigate to the Import Section

  1. Log in to your Datatruck account.

  2. Go to Load Management > All Loads from the left sidebar.

  3. Click the three dots (⋮) located in the top-right corner of the screen.

  4. Select Old Loads from the dropdown menu.

3. Import Your File

  1. Click the Import button.

  2. Upload your file by:

    • Selecting it from your device, or

    • Dragging and dropping it into the upload area.

  3. Once the file is uploaded, proceed to mapping.

4. Map Your Fields

You will now see a mapping screen.
Match each column in your file to the appropriate field in Datatruck.

  • Ensure each field is correctly paired to avoid data errors.

  • Once mapping is complete, click Save.

Your old loads will now be imported into Datatruck.

Important Note

Imported Old Loads are only for record-keeping purposes.
They do not reflect in active workflows, dispatching, reports, or billing modules.
