Adding a trip charge allows you to include additional pay items such as accessorial, layovers, or bonuses to a specific load. Follow the steps below to add a trip charge.
Steps to Add a Trip Charge

Go to Load Management

From the left-hand menu, click Load Management.

Open the specific Load where you want to add a trip charge.

Open Trip Charge Section

On the load details page, scroll down to the Other Pay section.

Click + Add Trip Charge on the right side of the screen.

A panel titled Add Trip Charge will open on the right.

Enter Trip Charge Details

Pay/Other Charges: Select the charge category (e.g., Accessorial).

Type: Choose the type of charge (e.g., Layover, Extra Stop, Bonus, etc.).

Driver Compensation: Select how the driver will be compensated (e.g., Full Amount or by Tariff).

Amount: Enter the amount for the charge.

Quantity: Add the quantity.

Note: Optionally, add a note for reference.

Save the Trip Charge

After entering all the details, click Save to apply the trip charge.

The added charge will now appear under the Other Pay section of the load as well as in the Driver Expenses section of trips.
