In the Datatruck platform, managing active freight efficiently is essential for keeping your operations running smoothly. The Live Loads section gives you real-time visibility into all loads that are currently on the move, specifically those that are either Dispatched or In Transit.
What Appears in the Live Loads Tab
The Live Loads view displays all loads that are currently:
- Dispatched – Loads that have been assigned to a driver and are scheduled to be picked up.
- In Transit – Loads that are already on the road and en route to the delivery location.
Navigating the Live Loads View
To access this section:
- From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Load Management > Live Loads.
- You’ll see a table displaying key load details, including:
- Load ID and Status (Dispatched or In Transit)
- Assigned Dispatcher and Driver
- Truck and Route Details (Pickup and Delivery Locations)
- Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), Distance, and more
You can filter or sort columns based on status, driver, customer, and location to zero in on what matters most to you.
Once a load is marked as Delivered, it will move from the Live Loads section to the All Loads section.
In the Live Loads section, the On Time, Late, and At Risk tabs help dispatchers and operation teams quickly monitor the real-time status of active loads. Here’s what each tab means:
On Time
This tab shows all live loads that are currently on schedule.
- The driver is moving as expected.
- Tracking updates are timely.
- No delays or concerns have been flagged.
At Risk
Loads in this tab are not late yet but may be trending toward a delay. These could include
- Loads without a dispatched driver or with unresolved issues.
Late
This tab lists loads that have already missed their scheduled pickup or delivery window.
- It may include loads with no updates past the scheduled time.
- It could also flag any active delays reported by the driver.
