Sometimes when you create a load, the system may show empty miles that are higher than expected. This usually happens if the last location on the previous trip wasn't accurate. Fortunately, you can fix this directly from the Trips section within the load.

This guide will show you two ways to correct the empty miles:

If the previous trip ended at a different location than what's recorded, follow these steps to update it:

Step 1: Select the relevant load where you need to adjust the empty miles.

Step 2: Go to "Trips" besides "Load Info"

Step 3: Locate the Last Location within Trips.

Step 4: Click "Edit" (pencil icon) on that last location.

As you see the empty miles for this load regarding the last location is as showed in the picture:

Step 5:  Select or type in the correct last location.

Step 6: Update the location to the correct location where the last trip actually ended.

Step 7: Click on tick mark to Save the changes.

This will automatically recalculate the empty miles based on the new last location.
