Datatruck lets you add a lumper fee to a load and specify who ultimately covers the cost.

Steps

1. Open the load and click Add New Lumper Fee.
   
   
    
2. Enter the amount and select the source of payment:
   • Company Paid — the charge is added to the invoice as an extra fee.
   • Broker Paid — the amount is added and deducted on the invoice, so the net total is zero.
   • Driver Paid — the charge is added to the invoice and reimbursed to the driver through their statement.

Example: Driver-Paid Lumper Fee

When you select Driver Paid, the fee is added to the load's accessorial charges, and the corresponding driver pay is recorded automatically so the driver gets reimbursed in their next statement.
