Step 1: Click on the "Split Trip" Icon:
-
Begin by opening your desired load by clicking on the Load ID from Load Management.
-
Ensure that the status of the load is not Delivered, Invoiced or Paid. If so, please click on the 3-dots from the top-right corner and click on "Undo".
-
Click on the "Split" icon next to the trip number of the load.

Step-2: Splitting The Trip:
-
Select the "Pick-Up" row as you are splitting the trip after the pick up.
-
Next, please enter the location of the driver by clicking on the drop-down.
-
Next, choose the split drop-off date and drop-off time as well.
-
Similarly, select the pick-up date and pick-up time for the split load.
-
Additionally, assign an amount of gross to your driver who'll be taking over the load.
-
Lastly, please click on the "Next" button.

Step-3: Assigning the Split-Trip to a Driver:
-
Then the second trip needs to be assigned to another driver.
-
From the options, select any driver that's ready to go or search for your desired driver and checkmark them.
-
Lastly, click on "Submit".

Now, you'll notice that there are now two split trips which are assigned to different drivers and trucks.

Moreover, end the trip manually for the first driver by clicking on "Autocomplete" in the trip info or he/she can complete it on his/her mobile app.
Then, let the next driver confirm the trip on his/her own application and pick up or you can do it manually from the system for the next driver. The rest of the process is the same as usual.
If you've followed all of the steps mentioned above, you would've successfully split a trip between two drivers!
