How to Change the Driver on a Load

If the wrong driver was assigned to a load, you can update the assignment at any point up to and including Invoiced status. If the load has been added to an Invoice Batch or Salary Batch, you must remove it from the batch first before making changes.

 

How to Change the Driver

  1. Go to Load Management and open the load.

  2. Navigate to the Trip section of the load.

  3. Click Edit Driver.


     

  4. In the window that appears, select the correct driver.

  5. Click Save to confirm.

The driver assignment will be updated immediately.

 

If the Load Is in an Invoice Batch or Salary Batch

If the load has been added to an Invoice Batch or Salary Batch, the Edit Driver option will be locked. You must remove the load from the batch before making changes.

  1. Go to Accounting and open the relevant Invoice Batch or Salary Batch.

  2. Locate the load and undo the load/batch.

  3. Return to the load and follow the standard steps above to change the driver.

  4. Once the driver is updated, re-add the load to the batch.
