  1. 📍New Feature: Geofence-Based Check-In & Check-Out - AI Updater

We’ve added Geofence automation to simplify trip tracking and reduce manual updates.

    • When enabled, if a truck enters within 2 miles of a pickup or delivery location, it will be automatically checked in.
    • When the truck exits the 2-mile radius, it will be automatically checked out.
    • Geofence uses the truck’s real-time location data from Telematics or ELD and compares it with pickup/delivery addresses.
    • Loads that are geofenced by AI Updater are marked with a “G” icon on the trip screen (screenshots 1 & 2).

    Benefits:

    • Fewer manual updates: Check-ins and check-outs happen automatically.
    • Higher accuracy: Location data ensures precise tracking at pickup and delivery points.
    • Full visibility: Easily identify geofenced trips with the “G” marker.

  2. 📎 Enhancement: Attachments in Email Preview - AI Updater

Previously, you could preview the composed email before sending. Now, the preview has been improved with attachments support:

    - You can see all attached documents included in the update.
    - You can also add additional files (e.g., BOLs, PODs, invoices, images) directly in the preview.
    - When you approve and send, the email goes out with all selected attachments.

This enhancement makes it easier to ensure brokers and partners receive all the necessary documents in a single, complete update.

  3. ✨ New Feature: Default Email Templates for New Loads - AI Updater
We’ve added a new global setting checkbox: “By default, enable all email templates for new loads.”
    - When this option is enabled, all email templates will be automatically activated for every newly created load.
    - This eliminates the need to manually enable templates one by one, saving time and ensuring consistency across all load communications.

With this update, your team can set it once and trust that every new load will start with the right templates enabled.

  4. ✨ New Feature: Instant Update Preview - AI Updater
We’ve added the ability to preview instant in-transit updates before sending.
    - When you click “Send In-Transit Update” (screenshot 1), a preview window will now open.
    - In the preview (screenshot 2), you can:
    1. Review the full composed email.
    2. Make edits if necessary before sending.
    3. Attach additional documents if needed.

  5. ⏱️ New Feature: View Delay Reports
We’ve introduced a new way to track and review reported delays directly in the system.
    - When a delay reason is reported, users can now view detailed reports (screenshot 1).
    - Each report shows the reason for delay, responsible party, delay duration, and explanation (screenshot 2).
    - If multiple delay reasons are reported, they will be listed so users can see the full history of delay events for a load.

This feature provides greater transparency and accountability, helping teams quickly identify the cause of delays and take corrective action.
  6. đź›  Bug Fix: ETA Calculation Error
We resolved an issue where travel time estimates were being miscalculated. For example, the system previously displayed 14.69 miles as 6 minutes, which was inaccurate. After investigation, the calculation logic has been corrected to reflect realistic travel times, ensuring consistency with expected averages (e.g., ~1 mile per 1 minute under normal conditions).

This fix improves the accuracy of ETA and distance reporting across the platform, helping users make more reliable scheduling and routing decisions.

  7. đź›  Bug Fix: ETA Terminology Correction
We’ve updated terminology across the platform to improve clarity and accuracy. “Expected Time of Arrival” has now been corrected to the industry-standard term “Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)”.

This fix ensures consistency in reporting and aligns with common logistics practices.
