In Datatruck, there is no option to permanently delete a fuel card from the system. Instead, you can make a fuel card inactive to effectively remove it from active use.

Steps to Make a Fuel Card Inactive:

1. Open the Fuel Card 
   Navigate to the Integrations > Fuel > Fuel Cards in Datatruck.

2. Select the Fuel Card
   Find the fuel card you want to make inactive and double-click on it to open the update screen.

3. Make the Card Inactive
   In the card details window, locate the checkbox labeled Is Active.

   • Uncheck this box to mark the fuel card as inactive.
     
     
      

4. Save the Changes
   Click Save Card to update the fuel card status.

What Happens When a Fuel Card Is Made Inactive?

• Historical transactions with the card remain intact in the system for records and reporting.

• You can reactivate the card anytime by reversing the process and checking the Is Active box again.

By making fuel cards inactive rather than deleting them, Datatruck ensures accurate record-keeping and prevents data loss.
