In addition to accessing tasks from the Task section, you can also view and manage your assignments directly from your profile using the My Tasks section. This makes it easy to stay on top of your responsibilities, whether you're following up on assignments or organizing your daily workflow.

The Employee Tasks feature in Datatruck allows managers and team members to assign, track, and follow up on work related to operations, dispatch, HR, safety, fleet, and more. You can create one-time tasks, link them to loads, drivers, or trucks, and even set priorities and subtasks.

For a complete overview, check out our article: Using the Employee Tasks Feature in Datatruck.

Accessing Your Tasks

To view and manage your tasks:

  1. Go to your Profile.
  2. Click on the My Tasks tab.

This section will display all tasks assigned to you, neatly categorized so you can manage them with ease.

Task Categories

Your tasks are grouped into three sections:

  • To-Do: Tasks that are pending and need your attention.
  • Completed: Tasks you’ve finished.
  • Archived: Archived tasks that are no longer in focus but stored for reference.

Organize with Filters

You can easily filter your tasks by Project Name and select a specific Date Range using the “From Date” and “To Date” fields. This helps you narrow down tasks relevant to a specific project or timeframe, especially useful when managing multiple assignments.

Flexible Viewing Options

You can view your tasks in two formats:

  • Table View: A structured list format with key details.
  • Board View: A visual layout, ideal for tracking progress at a glance.

Simply switch between views depending on your preference or workflow needs.

This is a great way to stay mindful of smaller to-dos or important reminders so nothing falls through the cracks.

Updating Task Status: Mark as Completed or Archive

Once you've finished a task or no longer need it active, you can easily update its status.

In the Action column of your To-Do task list, you'll find options to:

  • Mark as Completed: For tasks you've finished.

  • Archive: For tasks you want to remove from the active view but keep for record-keeping.

This helps keep your task view clean and focused on what still needs your attention.
