Follow the steps below to create a Safety Task using Truck GPT:

1. Safety Task Creation
Go to the Safety section within the platform. Click on “Create Safety Task”.
2. Use Truck GPT to Read Documents
You’ll be asked to upload a document, such as a receipt or invoice.
- Truck GPT will scan the uploaded file.
- It will automatically extract information such as:
- Task type (e.g road side inspection)
- Date of service
- Relevant unit or truck number
- Driver (if listed in the document)
3. Review and Fill in Missing Information
Truck GPT will fill out as many fields as possible all listed on the document.
- If any fields are left empty, simply type in the correct information manually.
- Make sure to assign the correct driver for the task if it isn’t auto-filled.

4. Billing & Reimbursement Options
In the Fees section:
- You can assign cost responsibility to either a driver or a vendor/contractor.
- Choose to mark the task as billable or reimbursable based on your internal process along with amount.

5. Create Task
Once all details are filled and completed:
- Click on “Create Task”.
- The task will be added to your dashboard and can be tracked or updated later as needed.
6. Approve & Update Safety Task:
You must Approve the work order after creating a safety task by opening it. This step is important as the system records who approved it and the exact date of approval. If any changes are needed afterward, you can always reopen the safety task and click Update Safety Task after making any necessary edits.
