There are some trucking companies who engage with subcontractor drivers. This means that there is separate truck owner and separate driver under the assignment of one carrier. Truck Carrier with MC number assigns loads to the driver and pays based on the agreement and also, truck vendor is paid based on pre-defined agreements in the end.

This Truck Owner, vendor is considered as investor and the driver is considered operator or subcontractor.

To begin with, the driver is chosen as owner operator/company driver depending on the pay rate and tag "subcontractor" is added.

This way, all subcontractors can be classified by searching tags in driver tab in HR:

Next, the truck owner should be assigned to the truck profile as the owner and if the vendor is not added, pls create a new vendor:

Once it is added, next time, when the truck owner statement is calculated, the owner and truck will be calculated in one batch:
