Less than Load (LTL)

Less than truckload (LTL) freight refers to the transportation of products or goods that do not require a full truckload. These smaller freight loads typically result in many separate shipments being transported on one truck. We also call them partial loads. Loads in the status of "Booked" can be included in this type of loads. This is how we can add LTL loads in steps:

1. Create loads which are going to be done partially on load management (by manual entry/TruckGPT/TruckGPTPremium). Then, select LTL in the upper tab:

2. Then, click on "Trip planner" in the right upper corner where you will create a unique trip number and save:

3. Add the booked loads (partial loads) in the created trip planner selecting "Add Booked loads" or "Assigned loads":

4. Assign the driver:

5. Change the loaded miles for the seond load so that their distances have been varied accordingly in the load information (go inside a trip):

Autosort function: this tool enables you to put all the stops in sequence respectively.
After that, you can click on "Recalculate" the miles and RPM will be recalculated:
